OKITE Quartz and Translucent

Quality from Italy

logo

Since its launch in 2000, OKITE (pronounced O-Kee-Tay) quartz surfaces have redefined quality and environmental standards in the quartz surfacing market. OKITE has redefined the expectations of discerning consumers and design professionals in Italy and around the world.

OKITE is the culmination of years of intense research, development and refinement from Seieffe Industrie, a long-standing family business that is one of Italy’s most renowned makers of innovative building products and household surfaces. OKITE is manufactured through a man-made process with its content composed of up to 93% natural quartz aggregate, making OKITE highly heat, stain and scratch resistant.

Non-porous OKITE is five times stronger and more durable than granite giving you a surface that never needs sealing unlike natural stones such as granite or marble. OKITE does not support the growth of mold, mildew and bacteria on its surface making it “food safe” certified by NSF, the public health and safety company.

Since OKITE never needs sealing, it is surprisingly stain resistant, offering far higher levels of protection against oil, coffee, wine and soft drinks. OKITE is also certified as a safe and hygienic product for use in food preparation areas. Its non-porous surface resists staining and prevents absorption of moisture or food that can harbor harmful bacteria. As a result, there’s no need to use any protective chemicals, making it safer for you and your family and particularly in active homes with children.

TRANSLUCENT

Just Like Onyx – only much stronger and durable

Currently, OKITE has three translucent colors that possess the same brilliant appearance and characteristics as Onyx but with the hardness and strength of an engineered quartz surface. OKITE translucent colors can be backlit giving you a striking, dynamic WOW factor. Coupled with natural or electric lighting, OKITE translucent surfaces provide an unmatched design treatment that is a perfect choice for residential countertops, bar tops, food serving areas, and commercial applications giving a one-of-a-kind look.
