    Every year Rocksolid Stone Works holds a remnant sale to help a selected charity organization. Habitat for Humanity is a nonprofit organization that helps the needy with a suitable, safe and affordable place to live.

    “This was our first year to work with Habitat for Humanity,” said Tom Rocks, owner of Rocksolid Stone Works. “We hold a fall sale every year but wanted to expand our events to include a summer sale that would help out another great organization. Habitat was the perfect choice for us to give back a portion of proceeds to help those in need,” said Rocks.

    Artisan Group Executive Director Chad Seiders recently presented the check to Marine Corporal Neil Frustaglio, a Homes For Our Troops spokesperson and Marine who recently received a home from the organization.

    “These veterans have given their blood, sweat, tears and in some cases part of themselves to defend our rights and freedoms in this country,” says Thomas Rocks, owner of Rocksolid Stone Works. “It is a privilege to give something back to them. We were very proud to contribute a portion of our yard sale proceeds to Homes for Our Troops so that these veterans can have a home that provides them more independence.”
